Why Small Groups?

The church is a network of small groups. Small Groups are not a new thing. Jesus and his twelve disciples were a small group. When the church came into being on the Day of Pentecost, they met in small groups. Acts 2:44 says the New Testament Christians "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship." Bible study and fellowship go hand-in-hand. In a small group, people get to know one another at deeper level than is possible in the large group worship time. That is why every member of the church is encouraged to participate in a small group. As members grow in fellowship with one another, they will also grow in relationship to the Lord. Most of our groups meet on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. However, a small group can meet anytime, anywhere. We invite you to participate in a group. We have one just for you!
